Chad Habegger, President and Founder
Chad has worked in the mechanical insulation industry since 1981, first in the industrial sector and later incorporating the commercial sector into his portfolio. In 1992 Chad cofounded C&D Insulation Inc. and today remains at the helm of the operations side of the business of CD Specialty Contractors. Chad modernized and implemented digital estimating and data storage, keeping CD Specialty Contractors current with the pace and technology of modern contracting practices.
Ryan Barker, Chief Financial Officer
Ryan has 20 years of experience as an owner, operator, and financial facilitator for various companies. At CD Specialty Contractors, Ryan assesses financial risk, manages budgets, and develops standards for the company’s financial performance. He also assesses and designs financial systems and develops more efficient ways to chart accounts.
Darren Franz, Chief Operating Officer
With more than 30 years in the industry, beginning with ownership of his own scaffolding company, Darren brings to CD Specialty Contractors a commitment to delivering effective business practices and best in class safety culture. Prior to joining CD Specialty Contractors Darren served as Vice President of Operations West for one of the nation’s largest maintenance services contractors, where he led the successful implementation of marketing strategies, new systems, programs, and processes which, strengthened the operations of the region. Darren is responsible for driving all aspects of the business including, safety management, operations, P&L management, business development and talent acquisitions.
Israel Sanchez, Vice President of Operations
Israel is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of CD’s Industrial Services division, setting strategic goals, supervising the workforce, driving results, and implementing organization enhancements and policy improvements. He has 14 years of experience in construction management, including routine maintenance, capital projects, outages, turnarounds, and new construction projects. Having managed multimillion dollar projects, Israel brings to the company, vast resources in manpower management and project execution. He bases his success on building teams, processes and a culture that drives one common goal – safety.
Marc Wood, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Marc leads and coordinates CD Specialty Contractors sales and marketing strategies. In that role he develops and implements strategic marketing plans and budgets, sales plans, and forecasts to achieve company objectives. A critical aspect of Marc’s mandate is assuring the company remains at the forefront of its ever-changing marketplace and remaining competitive in every industry the company serves.
Ace Cowan, Vice President of Estimating
Applying more than 20 years of construction industry estimating experience, Ace directs and oversees all estimating and project management functions for CD Specialty Contractors. He personally develops estimates for various projects and leads our estimating and project management staff from initial budgeting to final procurement and project completion, assuring quality and accuracy every step along the way.
