CD Specialty Contractors is on the Move

The CD Specialty Contractors team continues to evolve and change to keep up with our expanding business. These are exciting times at CD Specialty and we want to keep the entire team up to date.

Swing Stages:

Sherry Wade Retired
Sherry Wade retired from CD Specialty Contractors on May 30, 2025. We wish her all of the best in the next phase of her life and hope that she continues to enjoy herself. She will be missed by everyone that has had the privilege of working with her.

Dave McCombs Promoted to General Manager
We are excited to announce that Dave McCombs has been promoted to General Manager role for CD’s Swing Stage Group. Dave has been, and will continue to be the key to our success in the Swing Stage business. Please take a moment to congratulate Dave on the move. We couldn’t have made it this far without his drive and expertise.

Industrial Division:

Jared Koon Promoted to Vice President of Industrial Services
Jared Koon has been promoted from Senior Construction Manager to Vice President of Industrial Services. He will take over the leadership role for all industrial activity including sales, business development, estimating, field supervisor and regional project management personnel. He will work closely with Marco Perez to organize field activities and manpower needs. Jared has had a tremendously positive impact on the company’s field performance and safety, since he joined the team three years ago, and we look forward to continue success under his leadership.

Commercial Division:

Marco Perez Promoted to Senior Construction Manager
We are pleased to announce that Marco Perez has been promoted to Senior Construction Manager for CD Specialty Contractors. Marco will be responsible for the management of all commercial field activities and will work closely with the sales team and warehouse teams to coordinate material movements, project scheduling and manpower assignments. Marco brings a wealth of experience and common sense to our team and we look forward to his continues success.

CD Specialty Contractors Welcomes Daniel Bertz-Sharon as CFO

We are excited to announce that Daniel Bertz-Sharon has joined CD Specialty Contractors as Chief Financial Officer. Daniel brings more than 15 years of financial leadership experience across industrial services, engineering, and manufacturing sectors. His background includes global finance roles, public accounting, and deep expertise in operational strategy, reporting, and risk management.

In his role as CFO, Daniel will focus on strengthening financial systems, supporting scalable growth, and aligning financial planning with the company’s long-term vision. His leadership will be instrumental as CD continues to expand its service offerings and deepen its operational capabilities across key markets.
