The overhaul outage project for the PacifiCorp Dave Johnston Power Plant’s Unit 3 and 4 boiler burners encompassed the bottom ash, drag chain conveyors, boiler refractory, high energy piping, air preheaters, and steam turbine systems. CD Specialty Contractors provided scaffolding and a suspended swing stage, installed insulation, and performed asbestos abatement where required. This project was completed on May 12, 2017, with complete safety throughout all procedures.

Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center will feature over 1,500 guest rooms and over 485,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. CD Specialty Contractors is providing systems scaffolding access to the entire exterior of the building for multiple trades’ access. At completion early in 2018, CD will have supplied over 1.5 million pounds of scaffolding for the project.
